Zilhaj moon not sighted, Eid-ul-Azha on July 21

The Ruet e Hilal committee did not sight the new moon for Zilhaj on Saturday. Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Pakistan on July 21.

The decision was held by the meeting after the crescent sighting, following the Magrib prayers.

The provincial and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees also met simultaneously at their respective headquarters for the sighting of the Zilhajj moon.

It was announced that the first day of Zilhaj would fall on July 12 (Monday). Consequently, Eid would be on July 21.
