The mother of four and victim of domestic violence was beaten to death by her husband on Sunday, the police confirmed.
The police arrested the suspect, Umar, at the hospital where he carried his wife’s body.
The couple had four children together. The perpetrator confessed to beating and assaulting his wife for months.
An FIR has been registered, and the deceased victim’s post-mortem was conducted.
The woman’s family has expressed dissatisfaction with the police’s investigation; they believe that the police made changes to the post-mortem examination report.
