Prime Minister Imran Khan reported on the exploration of winter tourism in Pakistan, also looking into the feasibility of ski resorts. In a post on twitter, the premier shared photographs of the first ever winter ski traverse at Deosai plains.
Pakistan’s Deosai Plains are situated at an average elevation of 4,114 metres (13,497 ft) above sea level and are considered as the second highest plateaus in the world.
