Vaccination of citizens aged 60 and above to start from March 10: Asad Umar

Pakistan is about to start phase two of its vaccination drive from March 10

On Sunday, the Federal Minister for Planning and head of the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC) announced that vaccination for people above age 60 will start from March 10. He took to Twitter and said, “The vaccination of people 60 years and older will be starting from Wednesday the 10th of March.

“Vaccinations will be done in reverse order by age which means the oldest person who has registered will be vaccinated first. Full details will be issued tomorrow.”

Pakistan’s COVID-19 inoculation drive started on February 3. In the first phase, it was decided to administer the vaccine to the front line health workers.
