Two PTI lawmakers admit being among those present in Ali Gilani’s video

Both Jamil Ahmed and Faheem Khan admitted this while talking to reporters in the Parliament House after meeting with PM Imran Khan.

On Saturday, two sitting MNA’s of the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) admitted that they were in the leaked video of Ali Gilani, son of Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in which the former is showing how to waste vote in Senate elections.

Both Jamil Ahmed and Faheem Khan admitted this while talking to reporters in the Parliament House after meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

They said they are soldiers of PM Imran Khan and ready to appear in front of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) if summoned during the disqualification case of newly elected Senator Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.

On March 2, a video of former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani’s son, Ali Haider, surfaced on social media in which he was allegedly instructing parliamentarians on how to waste their vote.

The former prime minister won the Senate elections against Abdul Hafeez Sheikh of the ruling PTI from Islamabad the next day which created doubts over the transparency of the elections.

PTI leaders had termed this video as a clear pre-poll rigging and urged ECP to take notice of it. The ECP will hear the case on March 11.
