QUETTA: The Counter Terror Department of Balochistan has issued a threat alert for Rawalpindi and Balochistan.
According to the threat alert, two suicide bombers are on the loose. One of the terrorists is currently in Rawalpindi, the other is Balochistan, the exact location of the latter remains unknown as of now.
The anti-terror departments of the country have increased their intelligence and search operations after the recent terror attack in Quetta where Serena hotel was targeted. The Blast at Serena hotel was carried out by a suicide bomber who has been confirmed to have been an Afghan national.
The activity in Quetta was carried out by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, and according to threat alert issued by the law enforcement agencies, more terror activities have been planned by the banned group.
