Statue of Abdul Sattar Edhi erected in Quetta

QUETTA: A statue of social activist and philantrophist Abdul Sattar Edhi has been erected at a chown named after him in Quetta, Abdul Sattar Edhi Chowk.

The sculpture was created by renowned Quetta artist and sculptor Ishaq Lehri and has been installed in collaboration with the People’s Primary Health Care Institute (PPHI).

According to the PPHI administration, the purpose of the statue is to pay homage to Abdul Sattar Edhi for his valuable social services.

A few months ago, a statue of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was erected at the Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Ziarat, Balochistan.
