KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department announced the suspension of in-person classes for all schools till grade 8 in the province for 15 days from April 6.
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani informed the public that the students will continue their education through online classes, homework and other remote means during this period.
During the department’s meeting, two proposals regarding the closure of schools in the province came up. Earlier, Dr Azra Pechucho, the health minister for Sindh, had put forth the suggestion to the NCOC that any school that has three individuals tested positive should be closed.
