Seven Punjab cities to go under partial lockdown from today; Rs1bn allocated for vaccines

Buzdar says Punjab govt will procure 1m doses of vaccines.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has said the Punjab government will procure at least 1 million doses of coronavirus vaccines amid a surge in infections across the province.

Addressing a press conference, Buzdar said that an amount of Rs1 billion will be allocated for the procurement. He said that the government will impose a partial lockdown in at least seven cities of Punjab from today where the positivity rate is over 12 per cent.
