Human rights violations are committed by Indian troops against the Kashmiris with indemnity in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir, says a report published by Kashmir Media Service.

The report said that there has been a massive upward surge in violations committed by Indian troops against the Kashmiris in the illegally occupied territory since 5 August 2019.

Various global rights groups have shown their concern on the alarming issue of massive exploitation by India in IIOJK.

Modi’s regime has perpetrated gross violations of the United Nations Security Council resolutions and article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) that attests the right to freedom and safety and the right to life, claimed the report.

The KMS report added that the curfew imposed by Indian troops which validate till the date is a violation of Article 13 of UDHR that stipulates the right to Freedom of Movement to individuals.

The activities of the population are coercively restricted in the curfew that violates their rights to the movement which is utterly unjustified, the report added.

The report listed cases of massacres, abductions, extrajudicial killings, sexual abuses, and tortures. According to the report 428 innocent Kashmiris have been shot by the Indian Army since 5 August 2019.

It added to the numbers that 95,861 blameless Kashmiris have fallen to Indian aggression in the Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The report implored the world’s global community to look into the atrocities committed against the people of IIOJK by India and pressed the global communities that the political future promised by the UN be granted to Kashmir and Modi be held accountable for the human rights violations in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
