LAHORE: This year the expected budget for the Punjab Government would be around Rs2,400 billion budget this year.
Out of a total budget of Rs2,400 billion, the government is expected to allocate Rs600 billion for development programmes and Rs1,350 billion for other projects.
Whereas no new taxes have been imposed, Rs400 billion of the budget will be spent on procuring wheat for the dietary needs of the province.
The provincial government is expected to increase the allocation for education, health, security, and water security by 10 percent.
