PTI govt incurred 48% less external liabilities than PML(N) regime

Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has said that the PTI incurred less external liabilities compared to previous regime of PML(N).

In his tweet Advisor to PM on Finance said the present government incurred 48 percent less external liabilities in first nine quarters compared to PML(N) last nine quarters while doing 78 percent more debt servicing. Hafeez Shaikh further said that despite the challenges posted by COVID 19, country’s industrial sector is thriving. The large-scale manufacturing, textile production and auto sales are on the rise, he added.
