President Trump claims victory, falsely and prematurely

President Trump claimed victory, falsely and prematurely, when millions of votes are yet to be counted in key battleground states.

In his speech, just before 2:30 AM on election night from the East Room of the White House, Trump said “As far as I’m concerned, we already have won,” and that any ballots that have not been counted, should not be counted and that he will take this to the Supreme Court if necessary.

The President said, “This is a fraud on the American public… frankly we did win this election. So we’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop.” The President does not have the power to go directly to the Supreme Court and ask them to stop counting legally cast ballots.

He said he holds leads in many key swing states, including Michigan and Pennsylvania, where votes are still being counted.

Battleground states Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Georgia are still counting legally cast votes, and it may take days before they count them in their entirety.
