Police officer kills two colleagues in Peshawar

A police officer on Monday gunned down a sub-inspector and a constable after a heated argument outside the Dauranpur’s quarantine center in Peshawar Monday morning.

CCPO Ahsan Abbas said the three police officers had a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. During this, the accused opened fire at his colleagues, killing them on the spot.

The police have arrested the suspect.

In a separate incident, a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officer was killed after unidentified men attacked his vehicle near a Motorway toll plaza.

The CCPO said that the police are investigating the case.
