Noor Mukaddam case: Following investigation closely from day one says, PM Imran

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday was live on state television attending telephone calls from the people.

Replying to the question about the Noor Mukaddan case, he said that he has been closely following the investigation from day one, adding that the incident was a very tragic one.

“I must reiterate that no one is being saved in this. No matter how powerful the assailant’s family is or whether he thinks he is a dual national and has American citizenship, he is not going to be spared if found guilty,” he said.

“It is a heinous case and it has shocked the nation, given its impact. I assure the nation that the accused will not escape the law and will be brought to justice.”

The programme, “Apka Wazir-e-Azam aapke saath,” was aired by Pakistan Television (PTV) from 3pm.

The Prime Minister’s Office announced on Twitter about his program.

During the live calls, people would be able to discuss their problems with the premier by calling the phone number provided by the government (051-9224900).
