PM Imran Khan resumes works after recovering from COVID-19

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has returned to work after fully recovering from coronavirus on Monday.

The news was shared on Instagram, as Imran Khan’s personal account shared a picture of him with a facemask with the caption reading, “Back to work after recovery from Covid-19.”

The premier, along with the first lady, had tested positive for the virus on March 20, subsequently, he was quarantined at home.

The news of Prime Minister Imran Khan testing positive was confirmed on Twitter by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination Faisal Sultan.

PM Imran was already taking on his official duties since last week without a second test. PM’s aide Shahbaz Gill had said that a COVID-19 patient “does not need to get tested three days after their symptoms subside”.
