Dr Sultan, PM’s aide on health, said the prime minister went into self-isolation at his Bani Gala residence after testing positive for the infection. He revealed that the Prime Minister had a slight fever with cough, but his general health is stable.

The premier had shown symptoms of the virus on the same day he was administered the first dose of the vaccine. His second dose of the vaccination was still pending, confirmed a health ministry spokesperson.
