On Sunday, after criticism from certain quarters of media, Pervez Khattak took to Twitter and made a clarification about his comments he made in Nowshera. He said, “Clearly mentioned in my speech for the locals of my village in Nowshera that I’m sincere & indebted to Imran Khan.”
Furthermore, he said that we will defeat all opposition parties who have ganged up against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
Yesterday, while speaking to a public gathering in his local town Manki Sharif, the former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government will not survive a single day if I don’t want it to.
He said, “If I do any mischief, Imran Khan’s government would not function even for one day but I am indebted to him.” He further reiterated that even people in the opposition respect him as he has to engage with them on a regular basis.
“I do not only handle government officials but also deal with members of the opposition. Everyone respects me.” Khattak said.
However, the Defence Minister categorically mentioned that he is forever indebted to Imran Khan and will support him in every situation. He said that it is because of Imran Khan’s vote we are in power.
Pervaiz Khattak also criticised Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and said that their only agenda is to hide their corruption.
“There are internal rifts within the PDM. Very soon, their artificial alliance will meet its fate,” he said.
