PCB determined to provide bio-secure environment for upcoming training camp

PCB is trying to ensure that a safe training camp for players is conducted before their departure to South Africa

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is pondering over conducting a training camp in a bio secure bubble before the team leaves for South Africa and Zimbabwe series.

Last year, when Pakistan was about to tour England, the training camp in the National High Performance Centre (NHPC) was not held due to accommodation facilities for the players.

After the postponement of PSL 6, PCB is very stringent about the COVID-19 SOPs. The whole Pakistani contingent will go under five rounds of tests.

The first round of testing will be done on March 16 and all tests will be taken at their homes. The second round of test will be conducted on arrival in Lahore on March 18. The third and fourth testing will be done on March 21 and 24. The fifth and the last tests will be taken on March 26.

During the stay, no unauthorized person will be allowed to meet the players.
