The second round of tests will be done on March 18

The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) medical panel conducted the first round of COVID-19 testing for the upcoming tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe. All cricketers and officials based in Lahore came to the National High-Performance Centre (NHPC).

Captain Babar Azam, Muhammad Hafeez, Imam-ul-Haq along with bowling coach Waqar Younis and head coach Misbah-ul-Haq appeared for testing.

Players outside of Lahore were tested in their respective cities. All 35 members will report at the PCB headquarters on March 18, where the second round of test will be done. Any player or official tested positive will be isolated straight away.

The training camp will begin on March 19 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. The contingent is expected to leave for South Africa on March 26.
