Pakistan reports more than 3,000 new coronavirus cases for second consecutive day

Pakistan reported 3,306 new coronavirus cases and a total of 40 deaths in 24 hours.

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) issued daily situation report which said 37 people lost their lives in hospital and three people died out of hospital. Pakistan has 43,963 active cases as of November 26. Punjab reported highest number of cases. Punjab reported 18,766 cases and Sindh reported 12,159 cases as of November 25. Islamabad has 8,016 coronavirus actives cases. In Balochistan 709, KPK 5,534 and AJK 495 people are active COVID-19 patients.

“334,392 people recovered so far across Pakistan making it a significant count,” stated NCOC press release. “There is no patient on vent in AJK, GB & Balochistan.”


The NCOC stated that Paksitan has 1767 ventilators for COVID-19 patients. Only 284 patients are on ventilators across Pakistan.
