Pakistan registers 36 fatalities, 2,362 new COVID-19 infections in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 2362 people tested positive for COVID-19 while 36 lost their lives according to the latest data provided by the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC).

As of December 13, the total active COVID-19 cases in the country stand at 47,236. Yesterday, 31,830 tests were conducted with Sindh conducting 10,270; Punjab: 11,536; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 4,756; Islamabad: 4,080; Balochistan: 230; Gilgit-Baltistan: 415 and Azad Kashmir: 543

Since the start of the pandemic, 384,719 people have recovered across Pakistan. Out of 1756 vents reserved for COVID-19 in the country, 346 are currently occupied. There is no patient on the vent in Balochistan and GB.

A total of 440,787 cases have been detected so far (AJK 7719, Balochistan 17745, GB 4791, ICT 34840, KP 52449, Punjab 127541, Sindh 195702)

Till now, Pakistan has conducted 5,064,220 tests. Currently, 3,014 patients are being treated in 613 COVID-19 facilities in the country.

Pakistan has recorded 8,832 deaths thus far due to this deadly virus.
