Pakistan registers 3499 new cases, 39 fatalities in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 3499 people tested positive for COVID-19 while 39 people lost their lives according to the statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

As of December 3, the total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan are 51,654. Around 42,904 tests were conducted on Wednesday with Sindh conducting 14,078; Punjab: 17,173; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 3,866; Islamabad: 6,306; Balochistan: 425; Gilgit Baltistan: 340 and Azad Kashmir: 716

Total recoveries in the country from the virus now stand at 346,951 taking the recovery rate to 85.3 percent.

Out of 1740 vents reserved for COVID-19, 332 vents are currently occupied. There is no patient on the vent in GB & Balochistan.

A total of 406,810 cases detected so far (AJK 7067, Balochistan 17268, GB 4683, ICT 31165, KP 47919, Punjab 121083, Sindh 177625)

Thus far, Pakistan has conducted 5,627,539 tests. There are 615 hospitals equipped with dealing the virus with 3005 patients admitted across the country.

The country has seen 8205 deaths due to COVID-19.
