Pakistan records another one-day highest tally since July

In the last 24 hours, Pakistan has recorded 36 deaths as the number of positive cases has surged to 33,562. The nationwide tally of fatalities has reached 7561.

According to the latest data provided by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 2738 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the country.

Yesterday, around 42,909 tests were conducted in Pakistan with Sindh conducting 14,470; Punjab: 16,297; KP: 4,269; ICT: 6,153; Balochistan: 704; Gilgit Baltistan: 198 and Azad Kashmir: 818

327,542 People recovered so far across Pakistan making it a significant count. Out of 1793 vents allocated for COVID-19, 230 vents are currently occupied.

A total of 368,665 cases detected so far (AJK 5,806, Balochistan 16,642, GB 4,494, ICT 25,719, KP 43,359, Punjab 112,893, Sindh 159,752)

Pakistan has conducted 5,098,291 tests for COVID-19 till date, while 770 hospitals are currently facilitated to deal with the virus across the country.
