Pakistan Navy today test-fired an anti-ship missile and torpedo from a under water vessel. Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral M Amjad Niazi witnessed the occasion as chief guest. “Pakistan Navy is ready to thwart any adventure of the enemy in a befitting manner,” the Naval Chief said at the occasion.

In the impressive fire power display, Pakistan Navy demonstrated combat readiness and war fighting capabilities through live weapon firing at the North Arabian Sea, stated the Pakistan Navy. According to a press release, the missiles and torpedoes launched from Pak Navy submarines successfully engaged the intended targets.

The CNS expressed satisfaction over operation readiness of Pakistan Navy fleets. He also commended officers for their commitment and professionalism, per the press release.
