Pakistan launches successful test flight of Fatah-1, a guided multi-launch rocket system

The rocket system is capable of delivering a conventional warhead up to a range of 140 km.

Pakistan has conducted a successful test flight of Fatah-1, a new guided, multi-lauch rocket system today, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Twitter today.

According to the Director General (DG) ISPR, the rocket system is capable of delivering a conventional warhead up to a range of 140 km.

“The Weapon System will give Pak Army capability of precision target engagement deep in enemy territory,” wrote DG ISPR.

The President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and COAS have also congratulated the participating troops and scientists on successful conduct of the flight test, it was announced.
