The finance minister said the successful transaction was an indicator of “leading global investors great confidence” in Pakistan’s “economy and future outlook”.

The newly appointed Federal Minister for Finance, Hammad Azhar said on Wednesday that Pakistan has successfully concluded its first-ever three-tranche capital market transaction.

The minister said the government launched 5, 10 and 30 year Eurobonds at rate of 6 per cent, 7.375 per cent and 8.875 per cent, respectively.

“Pakistan has very successfully concluded its first-ever 3-tranche capital market transaction yesterday. With 5, 10 and 30 year Eurobonds at 6%, 7.375% and 8.875%, leading global investors showed great confidence in our country’s economy and future outlook,” the federal minister tweeted.
