Senator Lindsay Graham, a senior US Senator and lawmaker said that Pakistan is essential to a peace process in Afghanistan.
In a conversation with Pakistani Ambassador to US Dr Asad Majeed Khan, Graham praised Pakistan in its effort to evacuate US citizens.
Ambassador Dr Asad Majeed Khan, following the conversation said that Senator Lindsay has always been a “strong voice” for Afghanistan and lauded Pakistan for its help to achieve peace.
He also said that because of Pakistan’s efforts, the US government has recognised Pakistan as an important ally in the region for the achievement of peace and stability.
