OGRA seeks Rs2 per litre decrease in petrol prices

The government is likely to reduce the petrol and diesel prices for the second half of this month. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) working has sent a summary for Rs2 per litre cut in petrol and diesel prices.

The final decision on whether petroleum prices will be decreased or not will be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan, after consulting with the Ministry of Finance.

In the start of April, the government slashed prices of petroleum products by Rs3 per litre.

The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was reduced by Rs3 per litre, petrol by Rs1.55 per litre, kerosene oil by Rs1.55 per litre and light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs1.56 per litre.
