O Level exams to start from May 10 after Cambridge asks Pakistan for rescheduling

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has said that the O-Level examination will start from May 10 instead of May 15.

The minister shared on his Twitter account that the decision was taken after consultation with all provinces and stakeholders.

“I had received a letter from Christine Ozden, CEO Cambridge requesting that O level/IGCSE exam should be allowed to start from May 10 instead of May 15,” he wrote.

He attached a copy of the letter alongside his tweet.

“If we can do this, it will help us to enable many more students to progress and their equivalence in the education system will be fairer as they will have a better chance to demonstrate what they have learnt,” Ozden wrote in the letter.
