No effort will be spared to investigate Dasu bus blast, PM Imran tells Chinese counterpart

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan held a telephone conversation with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Friday, said a statement by Foreign Office.

During the call, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed heartfelt condolences over the loss of precious lives of Chinese nationals caused by the “tragic incident” in Dasu.

The PM said that people of Pakistan shared the grief and pain of the bereaved families. He underlined that the government of Pakistan was providing the best possible medical care to the injured Chinese nationals.

The PM assured that no effort would be spared to investigate the incident. He added that the security of Chinese nationals, workers, projects, and institutions in Pakistan was the highest priority of the government.

Prime Minister Imran Khan reiterated that Pakistan and China had an iron-clad friendship that had withstood the vicissitudes of time. No hostile forces would be allowed to damage brotherly relations between Pakistan and China, he added.
