NewZealand, Australia offer to evacuate Afghans who assisted troops

Newzealand and Australia to help evacuate Afghan nationals who aided their Defense forces in Afghanistan.

Newzealand has agreed to assist 37 Afghan Nationals including their immediate families. Australia reported that 430 Afghans and their families had already been settled in Australia.

Jacinda Ardern stated that the rapid fall of Kabul was not expected. But the Government is trying to respond just as swiftly. Taliban’s advance on Kabul poses a threat to all foreign nationals and their evacuation is of utmost importance.

Scott Morrison the Australian Prime Minister reported that they are working on the safe transfer of their people. And Australia has no intention of recognizing the Taliban government.

After the Taliban entered Kabul on Sunday and President Ghani’s departure. Many Afghans and foreign nationals have taken to the airport in a desperate attempt to escape the country.

Many countries have ordered their nationals to immediately evacuate the country.
