NCOC says 440 new cases, 5 deaths reported in the last 24 hours

Data from the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) reports 440 coronavirus cases on 19 October along with 5 deaths. Currently, as of 18 October, the total number of active coronavirus cases in Pakistan is 9,384.

Pakistan conducted 27,091 tests on 18 October; 9,094 in Sindh, 10,033 in Punjab, 3,756 in Khuber Pakhtunkhua, 2,478 in Islamabad, 892 in Balochistan, 402 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 436 in Azad Kashmir. Punjab conducted the highest number of tests followed by Sindh.

The number of recoveries from Coronavirus in Pakistan has been consistently significant at 307,409 recovered patients as of today. Neither of the provinces of Azad Kashmir, Balochistan or Gilgit-Baltistan have coronavirus patients on ventilators.

Currently, 1884 vents have been allocated for patients of the virus in Pakistan.

A total number of 323,452 cases have been detected in Pakistan with 3498 in Azad Kashmir, 15688 in Balochistan, 4059 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 18069 in Islamabad, 38645 in Punjab and 141841 in Sindh.

Sindh remains the leading province in terms of coronavirus cases.

6659 deaths have been reported so far; 2581 in Sindh, 2298 in Punjab, 1265 in KP, 195 in Islaamabd, 148 in Balochistan, 90 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 82 in Azad Kashmir.

So far, a collective number of 4,101,115 tests have been conducted for the virus.

735 hospitals are facilitated to deal with coronavirus with 789 patients admitted across Pakistan.
