According to data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 625 people tested positive for coronavirus on 19 October while 14 people lost their lives during the last 24 hours.
As of now, Pakistan’s number of total active coronavirus cases is 9461. 26,211 tests have been conducted so far; 8,182 in Sindh, 8,623 in Punjab, 3,938 in Khyber Pakhtunkhua, 3,697 in Islamabad, 922 in Balochistan, 428 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 421 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan continues to see a significant number of recoveries from the virus with the number at 307,950 as of 20 October.
There is no coronavirus patient on the ventilator in neither Azad Kashmir nor Balochistan.
Across Pakistan, 1884 ventilators have been allocated for patients with the virus.
A collective number of 324,084 cases has been detected so far with 3507 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 15704 in Balochistan, 4084 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 18187 in Islamabad, 38707 in Khyber Pakhtunkhua, 101760 in Punjab and 142134 in Sindh.
6673 people have died of Coronavirus in Pakistan; 2583 in Sindh, 2310 in Punjab, 1265 in Khyber Pakhtunkhua, 195 in Islamabad, 148 in Balochistan, 90 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 82 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Sindh remains the leading province in terms of coronavirus deaths.
4,122,069 tests have been conducted in Pakistan.
735 hospitals are adequately facilitated to deal with the virus, with 805 patients admitted across the country.
