Momina Duraid’s Ibn-e-Hawa to mark return of Chupke Chupke star Aymen Saleem

Aymen Saleem became the spectator’s favourite after her performance in a Ramadan special drama serial Chupke Chupke. Written by the Suno Chanda writer Saima Akram Chaudhry, the drama went on air on HUM TV and broke all the viewership records with a list of heart throbbing celebrities in one frame such as, Ali Safina, Mira Sethi, Asma Abbas, Arslan Naseer, Osman Khalid Butt and Aymen Saleem.

A few months after the success of Chupke Chupke, Aymen Saleem proclaimed that the viewers won’t be able to see her on the screen anymore. This made a lot of fans disappointed as they had developed a huge liking for the young actress and wanted to see more of her on screen.

To the audience surprise, the recent news claim that the actress is definitely returning to share the screen with Shehzad Sheikh, and Hira Mani in the upcoming serious drama serial Ibn-e-Hawa by Momina Duraid production.

In an interview, the writer of the drama said, “I have deliberately subverted the idea, as can be observed in the title which goes against the oft-spoken phrase, ‘Ibn-e-Adam’. The serial, accordingly, is based on the distortion of perspective that is infused into the minds of men who are taught to hate women. It touches upon the issue of misogyny that continues to seep deeper into our society. By being called ‘Ibn-e-Adam’, men are made to associate themselves with a male figure and Amma Hawwa’s name gets eclipsed. The reasons for an indifference towards the female gender are thus traced back to very, very old times.”

Ibn-e-Hawa is directed by Ahmad Kamran and will probably go on air either by the end of 2021 or the start of 2022
