Man stabbed, reporter attacked at US anti-vaccination protest

Los Angeles: A fight broke out between anti-vaxxers and counter-protesters in which a man was stabbed and a reporter attacked.

Several hundred people, some holding American flags and signs calling for “medical freedom”, were gathered at City Hall.

A handful of counter-protesters were also gathered nearby and soon a brawl broke out between the two groups.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported that at least one man had been stabbed and was receiving medical treatment.

LAPD Officer Mike Lopez reported that no arrests had been made but an investigation was on going.

KPCC radio reporter Frank Stolze reported, “I was shoved, kicked and my eyeglasses were ripped off of my face by a group of guys at a protest.”

Stolze was seen leaving the area whilst being kicked by a man and chased by protesters.

Counter-protesters could be seen spraying mace while members of the anti-vaccine rally screamed death threats.
