ISPR: Security forces kill a member of TTP in South Waziristan

The killed terrorist had been an active member of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) since 2006.

Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Ladha, South Wazirstan, reaveled the military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). The operation was carried out on the basis of reports on the presence of terrorists.

During an intense exchange of fire, a terrorist, peer alias Asad was killed. The killed terrorist had been an active member of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) since 2006.

He joined TTP’s Baitullah Mehsud group and remained involved in terrorist activities against security forces. After the death of Hakeem Ullah Mehsud, the emir of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, he joined the Shehryar Mehsud group.
