Indian occupation forces continue atrocities in Kashmir, martyr 355 youth in 2021

Indian occupation forces killed 355 people, injured 484, arrested 1,686 and burnt 135 properties to ashes, besides conducting 467 search operations in the Illegally Occupied Kashmir during the outgoing year.

The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has issued a report on Indian atrocities during the past year, documenting the situation of Kashmir in the occupied territory.

A protest demonstration was also held under the auspices of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

The protest was organized against the grave human rights violations and killing of innocent Kashmiri youth by Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

APHC representatives chanted anti-India slogans and called on the international community to intervene.

The protesters said that another year was coming to an end, but Indian atrocities could not be stopped. They said that the Indian forces started massacre of Kashmiris after August 2019, turning the Muslim-majority population into a minority, adding that domiciles were being issued for the same purpose as well.

The BJP government has so far issued 4.5 million non-indigenous people Kashmiri domiciles and changing the demography of the valley.

The protesters said that in the past 48 hours, nine Kashmiris were martyred in staged encounters.

They also demanded that the Kashmir dispute be resolved immediately in accordance with United Nations (UN) resolutions and demanded the government of Pakistan convene a meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the current situation in Kashmir.
