‘India desires cordial relations’, Modi writes letter to PM Imran

PM Modi also conveyed wishes to PM Imran and the people of Pakistan for dealing with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, terming it a difficult time for humanity.

On the occasion of Pakistan Day, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a letter to PM Imran Khan, saying that his country desires cordial relationship with Pakistan.

“As a neighbouring country, India desires cordial relations with the people of Pakistan. For this, an environment of trust, devoid of terror and hostility, is imperative,” Modi wrote.

PM Modi also conveyed wishes to Imran and the people of Pakistan for dealing with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, terming it a difficult time for humanity.

“Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration,” the message concluded.

A few days back, PM Modi also sent his best wishes after Imran Khan tested positive for COVID-19.
