Four terrorists were killed while two Pakistan army soldiers embraced martyrdom in a gunfight with terrorists in Mir Ali, North Waziristan says an ISPR press release.
Security forces cordoned off the area on suspicion of terrorist presence. The terrorists opened fire on seeing the forces and in an exchange of fire, four of them were killed.
During the conduct of operation, Naib Subedar Amin Ullah, 42, a resident of Chitral, and sepoy Sher Zamin, 24, a resident of Landi Kotal, martyred while four soldiers suffered injuries.
The terrorists were involved in kidnapping for ransom, extortion, firing on security forces and IED explosions.
