The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Wednesday approved provision of 500,000 metric tons of wheat to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The approval was given in an ECC meeting held in Islamabad with Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin in the chair.
Wheat will be supplied to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Pakistan Agricultural Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) reserves.
The ECC approved foreign aid policy for NGOs.
The meeting was informed about operational loss of petrol through pipeline and the ECC approved 0.5 percent operational loss.
It also approved technical grants for federal ministries, the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority and supplementary grant for the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission.
