Dehli Police files FIR against Greta Thunberg for tweet on farmers’ protest

On Thursday, the Delhi Police filed a FIR against Greta Thunberg accusing her of conspiracy for her tweets on farmers’ protest. It is hilarious, to say the least, that the world’s biggest democracy is scared of a young girl’s tweet, who is based in Sweden.

The 18-year-old, environmental activist Greta Thunberg has been accused of creating disorder in the country. This issue started when Thunberg shared a CNN article regarding the farmers’ protest in India. “We stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest in India,” Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg tweeted.

In addition to this she also tweeted, “Here’s an updated toolkit by people on the ground in India if you want to help. (They removed their previous document as it was outdated.) #StandWithFarmers #FarmersProtest

The document she shared had a list of various actions that could be taken in support of the farmers’ protest. This included a protest outside Indian embassies and their local office and a campaign on social media.
