COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa meets Peshawar Zalmi’s contingent

COAS appreciated the dignitaries for their contributions in bringing international cricket to Pakistan and being the ambassadors of peace

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa met the Peshawar Zalmi’s contingent, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Former West Indies captain and Zalmi’s head coach Darren Sammy, former South African batsmen Hashim Amla, former Pakistan bowler Muhammad Akram and CEO Javed Afridi were present in the meeting.

COAS appreciated the dignitaries for their contributions in bringing international cricket to Pakistan and being the ambassadors of peace. Further more, Army Chief congratulated the cricketers on the success and growth of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and expressed hope that it recommences early for much awaited jubilation of entire country.

Visiting dignitaries also shared experience of their visits to different parts of Pakistan and seeing Pakistan as a beautiful and peaceful country.
