Cambridge agrees to reschedule O level exams in Pakistan

Federal minister for education Shafqat Mahmood said Cambridge has agreed to reschedule ‘O’ level exams in Pakistan “to after May 15”. He said ‘A’ and ‘As’ level exams will take place as per the original timetable.

He said that O and A level students were constantly calling, sending messages or writing emails. He said he had held detailed discussion with Cambridge

“O and A level students are constantly calling, sending messages or writing emails. I want them to know that I am in continuous contact with Cambridge authorities to reschedule most if not all exams to after May 15. I should know more tomorrow.”

Cambridge Assessment on its website said “We are working in collaboration with the government of Pakistan to ensure the safety of students and provide them with academic continuity in this very challenging situation.”
