At least 23 passengers were killed and nine injured when a bus plunged into a ravine in Azad Kashmir’s Pallandri area, police said on Wednesday.
More than 30 passengers were on board the ill-fated bus, which was on its way to Rawalpindi.
Earlier, the police had said that seven passengers died, but increased the death toll after a while.
Rescue personnel rushed to the scene to retrieve passengers trapped under the debris.
The bodies and injured have been shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Baloch.
