The 2021 World Happiness Report, released by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, has ranked Pakistan at 105 out of a total of 149 countries, while India stands at 139.
“Our aim was twofold, first to focus on the effects of COVID-19 on the structure and quality of people’s lives, and second to describe and evaluate how governments all over the world have dealt with the pandemic. In particular, we try to explain why some countries have done so much better than others,” the official website stated.
Finland has been ranked the happiest country in the world with 7.809 points. Afghanistan has been ranked the lowest, followed by Zimbabwe and Rwanda.
