At least two people were killed and 10 others were wounded in a blast targeting a security forces convoy in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Wednesday morning, provincial governor’s spokesman said.
The blast occurred in the Bargeno area of PD4 in Jalalabad city, the capital of the province, when a security forces convoy was passing the area, he said.
“There are no reports of security force members casualties in the blast yet,” he added.
He said the injured have been admitted to a hospital. A rickshaw driver is among the dead, he added.
No group, including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for the blast.
