An emergency meeting of the Inter-provincial education ministers has been called in view of the rising number of corona cases in Pakistan.
Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood will chair the meeting and a letter has been issued to all the members of the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference.
The inter-provincial education ministers meeting will be held on November 16 at the National Command and Control Centre. Coronavirus cases have been reported in various educational institutions of Pakistan, and collectively the country has also reported a significant rise in the COVID-19 cases.
The district administration has sealed the relevant departments and classes after corona cases reported in three universities in Islamabad. A large number of educational institutions that have been sealed are private educational institutions. So far, several educational institutions in the federal capital Islamabad have been sealed after two or more corona cases were reported.
