Seven soldiers embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack on Frontier Corps post in Harnai district in Balochistan, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
This incident occurred last night. The area has been cordoned off and an extensive search and clearance operation is being done to apprehend the fleeing miscreants.
The martyred soldiers include Naib Subedar Gulzar, Sepoy Faisal, Sepoy Abdul Wakeel, Sepoy Sher Zaman, Sepoy Jamal, Abdul Rauf and Faqeer Muhammad.
Such cowardly acts by inimical elements backed by anti-state forces will not be allowed to sabotage hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan. The security forces are determined to thwart their nefarious designs at all costs, the statement further added.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed his deep grief over the loss of precious lives and said, “My heartfelt condolences & prayers go to their families. Our nation stands with our courageous soldiers who face attacks from Indian backed terrorists.”
Jam Kamal Khan, Chief Minister Balochistan has also offered his condolences to the martyrs and their families.
