Mohammad Rizwan is garnering love and appreciation on social media for his loving reaction to hug Lahore Qalandar’s Shaheen Shah Afridi in a Pakistan Super League match on Friday in Lahore.
Multan Sultans skipper played a sizzling shot off the bowling of Qalandars captain Afridi straight back at him. Unable to hold the ball due to speed, Shaheen acted to throw the ball back at Rizwan.
Rizwan reacted with a hug gesture for Afridi. The video of the exchange between the two players has gone viral on the internet. Rizwan has been receiving praise on social media for cooling down the situation with his calm behavior and loving reaction.
Rizwan has also been getting accolades on social media for his scintillating performances in PSL and over the last year. He and new entrant Shahnawaz Dahani had put up some tremendous performances in HBL PSL 6.
Rizwan had become the most successful Pakistani batsman in any single tournament of T20 cricket. He dismissed a record of 20 batsmen behind the stumps in HBL PSL 6.
He is currently leading Multan Sultan as the captain in HBL PSL 7. His team has so far registered six consecutive victories and became the first team to qualify for the playoffs. Lahore Qalandars broke the winning streak of Sultans in the ongoing season of HBL PSL.
